I caved to blog tradition for my 100th post and wrote a list of 100 things about me. I don’t expect you to read it, really. But it was fun to write!

I think Troy made excellent suggestions.

I enjoy reading lists like these because I feel I get to really know the person.

As I read through your list, I found we had a few things in common. Autumn is my favorite season. I’ve always liked the smell of coffee (but I don’t drink it). I learned to crochet as a child, and I made my dad an afghan when I was a teenager. It wasn’t too big, but I didn’t do a great job stitching the granny squares together and it started to come apart at the seams. My dad still keeps it on display. I’m a night owl, too.

One difference I’ll mention is that I do use the word “soda” for that fizzy drink; however, my best friend who is from Michigan totally agrees with you that it is “pop.” And in Michigan the aisle where the fizzy drink is located is labeled “pop.” But, here in Georgia you would probably get a few funny looks if you requested a pop. My friend Michelle has when she visits.

    Congratulations on your 100th post!

I only have one sibling, a brother, and he is also 17 months younger than me. I thought that was funny.

I also took Suzuki piano lessons, played flute throughout middle & high school, my first job was as a library page, outgrew my extreme pickiness, drink pop, wanted to live in the pacific northwest (ever since my dad lived there)…

…and so many other things on your list sounded like I could just copy and paste them into my site! Thanks for sharing!

I feel like I’m sort of commenting on three posts at once right now, but I just wanted to say:

I myself love! reading others’ 100 Things Lists. So: hurrah! I am excited! to read yours.

That blanket in yesterday’s post looks so cozy that I am now seriously contemplating taking a nap when I get home.

    Happy! birthday.
