a few happy things

1. The gentleman we saw today driving south on 144th near West Dodge, singing along with his radio and chair-dancing his heart out. Sir, ROCK ON.
2. Elliora walking through the mall with me, rhythmically moving her arms in front of her, and cheerfully telling me, “I’m swimming!” The cute! It just about killed me.
3. The much-needed rain that Omaha got today.
4. Tomorrow morning I’m flying to Chicago to attend a Harry Potter fan convention with Rainbow. I’m thinking that’ll be pretty interesting, no?

Ah! Thanks to your blog I found out that there is convention for Harry Potter lovers. And the comments indicated that it was called LeakyCon. I hope it went well. I would love to see a post in your blog about that.
I also looked at the crochet work you have been posting here. It is just beautiful! The colors remind me of my mother’s paintings! I will come to your blog often :)
P.S. The Harry Potter books are my sweet spot. They remind me of all things that are still good with the world.
