Annalie’s song-letter for Daddy

Today as we were sitting at the table eating leftover chili for lunch, Annalie announced that she needed me to get my camera. “I want you to take a movie of me singing a song for Daddy to let him know I love him and miss him. Then you can put it on a DVD and mail it to him!” I suggested I could just upload it to the internet instead and then he could watch it tonight, instead of having to wait a week for a DVD to arrive in the mail. She decided that was acceptable.

Oh my goodness, this is soooo adorable and so sweet. I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes!! I bet her Daddy is going to be SO proud and touched when he sees this :)

Can you believe she is already calling me by my first name? What is this world coming to? Ah, but the song is so sweet she could call me Tony and I wouldn’t mind. Ummm, I guess she gets the made-up-song thing from me, but I think she is already better at it than I am. You go girl! Bravo! Encore!

Is it just me, or does Annalie seem to rank the San Diego Panda right up there with Daddy on her love scale? Regardless, her song is just about the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard!
