5/7 - Where am I?
December 24th, 2008
Today the theme for 7 Days was “Where am I?” We were free to interpret that theme in any way we liked, but I took inspiration from barrybloke and did a Where’s-Waldo-like shot. It’s unlikely you’ll be able to spot me in the little 500×333 photo on this page. If you want to play along, click on the photo to go to my Flickr stream and then click the link under the photo to view the largest size. If you do find me, don’t give it away in the comments!
I warn you, it’s rather tricky to find me. (Hint: If you happen to be on my parents’ Christmas-card list it might be a little easier for you to find me.) But all the other ideas I had today for self-portraits didn’t work out very well and now it’s 10:36pm on Christmas Eve and I really should be crocheting a stocking I promised to Annalie rather than messing about on the internet. So this is the best I can do.
It’s Christmas Eve, y’all!!! I wish you a blessed night and a merry day tomorrow full of good food, loved ones, and just the right gifts.
4/7 - Mirror, mirror on the wall
December 23rd, 2008
Who’s the prettiest camera of them all?
My 7 Days photo today was inspired by a photo I took a couple of weeks ago. I was up really early one morning, before anyone else was awake. I thought such a rare event should be commemorated! So I took a photo of myself in this little mirror that we bought at a shop in Old Town before we left California in 1999.
I like this photo so much, I debated cheating and changing the date on it so it could be my Day 4 photo. You’ll be glad to know I resisted temptation.
On a totally unrelated note…how on earth did it get to be December 23rd!?
3/7 - Vanilla eye
December 23rd, 2008
Get it? I crack myself up.
The bottle contains homemade vanilla extract which we’ll be giving to various people for Christmas. So a few of you seeing this photo might be getting a sneak peek of your Christmas present. Oops. Uh, forget you saw this.
In other news, Annalie received a little gift in the mail today from Brenda and Bug: a snow globe soap! Annalie loved it. She was so excited she immediately asked if she could take a shower, right after we filmed a short thank-you video.
A thank-you note from Annalie from bethany actually on Vimeo.
