Many more photos of our weekend visiting with Sarah & B, Rebekah, and Kristen & her family are on Flickr in the photoset MD friends in TX. Most of them are friends & family only.

We’re in OMSHville now and having a blast!

I painted these two bowls in Maryland last spring, and finally got around to adding them to my Etsy shop. I also recently painted a bowl for OMSH, another in the Dottery series.

It’s in my Etsy shop now. Purchase it at your leisure, Heather, and I’ll be happy to deliver it to you…IN PERSON in a couple of weeks!

In other crafty news, I finally got around to getting those pay-it-forward gifts put together. I packaged them up and left them with Troy to mail. Assuming he did so, Maura, Stephanie and Linda should keep an eye out.

A sneak peek of something I’m working on for Halloween that will also go in my Etsy shop:

Details to follow, so stay tuned.

Thank you so much to everyone who left comments on the last post or emailed me. Your condolences and well-wishes were all very appreciated by me and my mom. We had an interesting week at my Aunt’s house with family, in many ways sad and in other ways wonderful. I don’t think I’ll be blogging any more about it, at least not in the near future. But if anyone makes the peanut butter cookies, please let me know how they turn out!

7/7 - camouflage

Funny story about my last 7 Days photo. Since we strung the line up on the deck yesterday, it’s been filled with watercolor paintings Annalie and I have done. I had the idea to stick my head into an opening between two of the paintings. I stacked a bunch of DVD cases, two CD boxes on end, and Annalie’s little green footstool on top of a wooden chair because I’m too lazy to find our tripod. I took about a dozen photos but none of them really seemed to work. Then I had the bright idea to paint my face. I don’t know if it was just that it made me laugh or what, but I really liked all the photos I took with the paint on my face.

Today, in case you couldn’t tell, was a much better day than yesterday. Thank you so much for all your kind words and virtual hugs, they help more than you know. I don’t know why I was so moody but I’m glad it’s over. And now Troy is back home!

We’re all very happy about that. What about you? I hope you’re happy. What’s putting a smile on your face and a bounce in your step right now?
