“Wait…so not only did we not get the Fulcrum list, but Jill’s never gonna speak to me again because she caught me naked, rinsing off fruit punch with another woman?”
“Common spy problem.”
— Chuck and Casey, in Chuck versus the Fat Lady
That bit of dialogue right there is a prime example of why I like the show Chuck so much. And now that it’s been renewed for a 3rd season I have breathed a sigh of relief. I’m looking forward to new episodes next March!
p.s. I can’t believe I just did a blog post entirely about a TV show. Hence the title.
p.p.s. In case you want context for that conversation… Chuck and Sarah open a booby-trapped puzzle box, looking for a list of bad guys and they release a burst of powder that sprays all over them. Casey rushes off to get a hazmat containment unit as Chuck and Sarah quickly tear off their clothes and jump into the shower to wash off what might be some kind of poison. When there is a knock at the door Chuck, expecting Casey, runs to open it in his boxer shorts and is surprised to see his girlfriend Jill. Of course at that moment Sarah rushes up behind him in her underthings and a towel. Jill assumes the worst and storms off. When Casey comes back with the hazmat equipment and tests the powder, they find that it wasn’t poison…it was powdered fruit punch mix.

In the last few weeks, I watched ALL the Chuck episodes on hulu.com. I don’t know if I should curse you or thank you. March seems far away.
P.S. Can you recommend another show to fill the void til then?
I love that you love Chuck so much. I totally love other shows (like Buffy and Dollhouse, for example) that much. And Chuck is hilariously great. Whenever a new show comes out that’s amazing, I want to jump for joy, because, hi, there is so much crap out there. Good shows are good fun!
The best part…it’s a show you can watch with your teen-agers. My son loves this show.
I loved that episode. And I do so love Chuck and am thrilled that there will be a 3rd season, do we really have to wait until March though?
