This morning, we went to breakfast at Chick-Fil-A. When I was in the kids’ play area with Annalie, I noticed this shiny surface opposite where I was sitting. Oh, hello there, 7 Days photo op!

Annalie decided to participate again this time too. Today she said she wanted me to be in her photo, in our yard. She turned on the 10-second timer and set the camera where she wanted it. She hit the shutter, urging me to hurry and pose next to her.

After we did her self-portrait, she wandered around the yard and took some photos of bugs and plants. I quite like this one she took of the grass.

In other news, this stuff is currently rocking my world: Sea Salt Dark Chocolate from Cost Plus World Market. Ohhhh, man is it ever good. I am eating it one tiny square at a time to make it last. When I twittered about this chocolate, Annika shared with me a favorite treat of hers: "Baguette slice, square semisweet chocolate, drizzle olive oil, pinch coarse sea salt. Oven toast." I’ll definitely be trying THAT sometime soon.
