Day 2 - Gold star and a golden opportunity

The Day 2 theme for 7 Days this run is gold.
I actually had this idea yesterday, but saved it because I knew gold was coming. After I took this shot, I went on to mess with the star (which is our tree-topper) for 20 minutes and took another dozen photos. But of course the first one I took was the best one. Then I tried another idea.
I was talking to Annalie when the timer took the photo. Can you tell? And I’m coloring on a print-out of the sheet for Oh My Stinkin’ Heck’s coloring contest for kids. Hurry quick, your kids (ages 1-8) can enter through midnight (CST) Dec. 24th, 2007, and there are cool prizes!
That’s all for now. It’s little Christmas Eve (as my husband’s family has always called Dec. 23rd), and I have presents to wrap!

I had never heard of 7 days before!
Sorry I’m so behind - Christmas has bitten me in the hiney ;)
I printed off the colouring sheets, but everytime I ask the kids if they want to colour, they say, “No thanks.”
I may have to bribe them…
My first photos are always the best ones too :)
