I just had to comment (unrelated to this post) about the candied nuts you posted a couple weeks back - I made this for gifts this year and LOVE them - they are so easy, look great in packaging, and taste tests indicate they are a hit! Other than the occasional nut allergy, we've been able to give these to many folks (teachers etc) and I'm cooking up a couple batches to tuck in with gifts for my family (just to up the ante a bit since we went small this year!) I also did the praline pretzels which are tasty but a bit hard/crunchy so I am giving less of those out. I found those more challenging to make but much faster/easier than baking which other than sugar cookies, I completely cut out of my preparations this year and am LOVING it!
