Day 3 – spy eyes

This was the first and only photo I took for 7 Days yesterday. When I looked at the display and saw the photo, I thought, That’s it. I’m done for today. It’s rare to get such a cool shot in one take, I figured I’d better respect it.

Is that a paper towel roll?
Erin is right! It’s a paper-towel roll. I was about to drop it in the recycling bin when I thought, Hmmm, maybe I could use this for a photo. So I stuck my little point-and-shoot’s lens right in the end of the roll, and then sort of held it together with one hand, and held it out so the other end of the roll was about 6-8 inches away from my face. I had no idea if it would turn out or not. It was pure luck it did, and on the first try.
That has to be one of the coolest pictures I have seen you take for 7 days or anything else for that matter. Very cool!
