Day 4 – me and my brother

Day 4 - me and my brother

We met my brother and his fiancee Angie for lunch today. There’s no Cheeseburger in Paradise where we live, so I suggested we meet there so I could get my sweet-potato chips fix. Mmmm, sweet-potato chips…

Day 4 - blurry lights and my eye

Annalie held the camera about two inches from her face for this shot, but she did get some cool painting-with-light action in it.

Day 67 for Troy

We also had a lovely visit with my Gramma, and then went to Katrina’s where we ate brownies and drank lattes and had a blast visiting and crocheting (me and Katrina) and running around outside (the kids). Continuing a theme from our last visit, Annalie told us on the way home that Alex was her boyfriend because he’s a boy and he’s her friend, and that she thinks they might get married someday. That works for me, because I know she’d have awesome in-laws! Katrina blogged about our day, if you’d like to read more about it. (Thanks for enabling my lazy blogging, Katrina!)

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m very tired and we have a long day of driving ahead of us tomorrow so for once I’m going to get a decent night’s sleep.

Celia said it first- you and your brother look so much alike! I would definitely be able to pair you two up ;)

Re: your thoughts on awesome in-laws- my 14 yo’s first boyfriend (6th grade- hand holding, no kissing) was a boy from an awesome family. They have been boyfriend and girlfriend two other times in the past 3 years and each time all of the parents involved happily comment that we’d be happy if they grew up some day and married!

    Have a safe journey :)

Love the one of you and your brother :)

And glad that you’ve already found Annalie’s groom.

I can’t believe you didn’t grow a goatee in honour of your brother to complete the twin look ;-)

Wouldn’t it be great if things worked out like that (Annalie and her boyfriend).

I love sweet potato fries, love them. Great shot of you and your brother. I look forward to where you will be next.

  7. I thought you lived in Paradise! I’ve never been to a Cheeseburger in Paradise. I love sweet potato fries, the chips are probably yummy too. Kevin and I are both sweet potato fans.

    Safe travels!

    Hi Bethany,

I “Stumbled Upon” your blog almost a year ago now, and I’ve been checking up on it every once in a while since then. I go to the University of Maryland and reading up on your and Annalie’s latest adventures is always the perfect little break when I’m loaded down with school work. I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I really enjoy reading your blog :)

  9. [...] (And my parents, who are not pictured.) I wrote about this a little bit already when I posted my Day 4 photo of the most recent 7 Days run, but I have a few more photos I just uploaded so I’m gonna [...]
