Day 6 – ruby red

Day 6 - ruby red

I love the fall colors we’re seeing here in Indiana. We’re visiting our good friends Angela & Greg (though Greg’s pretty busy with grad school, I doubt we’ll see him much) and their girls Gabby & Annie.

We moved into a house down the street from Gabby’s family when she and Annalie were only 14 months old. Annie, Gabby’s sister, was born only a month later. These three have been playmates and friends pretty much their whole lives, until we moved from Maryland to California and they moved from Maryland to Indiana. It’s been wonderful seeing them again.

Unfortunately, Annalie was feeling rather under the weather today. (I think she’s mostly just tired and jet-lagged, and am hopeful that a good night’s sleep will go a long way to helping her feel better.) No 7 Days photo from her today; we just never got around to it. Instead, here’s our Day 69 photo for Troy, taken by my mom:

Today was a good day. We look forward to more fun in the days ahead. Now if you’ll excuse me, Annalie isn’t the only one who’s tired and jet-lagged. My bed is calling!

Annalie’s dress in your day 69 photo could count if the theme for today was red?

That is a spiffy dress Annalie has on. Looks like the girls were playing dress up!

Oooh, those red leaves are gorgeous. One thing about living in the midwest…the changing of seasons is lovely.
