Day 7 – Shiny red things

I like shiny things. I like the color red. I also quite enjoy hot beverages. So two of my favorite Christmas presents this year were my new electric kettle from Troy and my big red mug from Annalie.
And with that, the December 2007 run of 7 Days is complete! Thank you once again to the group’s fearless leaders, Lauren and Sarah. They’re both crazy talented photographers and lovely people to boot. Thanks also to my fellow 7 Dayers. It’s always interesting to get a glimpse into so many different lives around the globe for a few days, and I appreciate your willingness to share. Your creative photos and kind and generous comments are the reason this is such a fun group and why I keep coming back for more.

I got your Christmas card in the mail today! It was so cute!! You two just have talent oozing out of your fingertips. And the smell of Elmer’s glue took me back a few years to elementary school. It’s hard to believe that Bri will be there herself soon enough. Thank you so much! Merry Christmas!

Troy, Troy, Troy…
It is not for us mere mortals to question Bethany’s magic. We just stare in awe wondering when the jump rope will slow down enough to let us in to jump with her. Most of the time, I accidentally hit it with my hand or foot and everyone goes tumbling…so I just watch…truly it’s safest for everyone.
You can sit by me and watch too…unless you’re busy holding the camera… :)
