en route

February 10th, 2009

I’d like to add something to that last list that I didn’t foresee:

14.1 Feel complete and total sympathy for Annalie as she feverishly sneezes and coughs her way through a flight and yet manages to remain entirely well-behaved.

*sigh*

We’re in Phoenix now on our layover (thank goodness for free airport wifi!) and just getting off the plane and having something to eat seems to have re-energized her. We’re only a short hour-long flight away from home. Thank goodness.

The vastness of America is hard to imagine. In just an hour and a half I can fly from England to Austria, across bits of France and Germany.

Oh, poor baby. I hate that and even I don’t think I could remain entirely well-behaved if I were sneezing and coughing through an almost cross country flight.

Hope everyone feels better and your trip ends happily and safely at home. Looks like you guys had a great time!

This is my first time stopping by your website. I keep meaning to because I’ve been reading Brenda’s blog for years and she mentions you quite frequently lol. So maybe now that I’ve, you know, stopped by, I’ll remember to do so again?

    Isn’t that how it works?

Anyway, I agree with what the other Sarah said. One of my sisters and my brother live in Switzerland and it always amazes them that they can drive across their entire country in the time it takes me to, well, not quite drive across my state.

    Good luck with the traveling!!
