Uh, yeah. So I meant to delete a draft that I was never going to use, and I accidentally deleted Annalie Von Trapp instead. So I’d like to apologize to those of you who left comments on that post, because your lovely comments got accidentally deleted too. I guess if I had to lose a post accidentally, that wasn’t a bad one to lose. It was only a couple of sentences and a video. So I will see if I can recreate that post. And I’ll try to never do that again.

Because I hate to leave you with just a lame “Oops, I messed up, sorry,” post, I will end this with an Annalieism.

The other night at Annalie’s bedtime, I was standing in the doorway as Troy tucked her in. Annalie was protesting that she wanted Mommy to put her to bed, which is part of her nightly routine–if Mommy’s putting her to bed, she wants Daddy to do it–and she sat up and announced theatrically, “Daddy, you work on the computer all day and all night, and you go to work all day and all night, and that’s your job. But Mommy can tuck me in all day and all night…and THAT’S my details.”
