funny photos of Annalie & Bug
February 23rd, 2010
A few days ago, I downloaded photos from my mom’s camera, and I found these pictures she took of Annalie and Bug. My mom was trying to take some nice pictures of their last day together before we moved, but they were both being so goofy that the photos are quite hilarious. We’re missing our California friends but I’m so grateful we have all the photos we do of our fun times together.
P.S. Dolly the dolphin made the road trip with us. Annalie begged to be allowed to bring her, and she agreed to not bring a pillow if Dolly came along. I’d say a good half of the time we were in the van, Dolly was on Annalie’s lap. Kids choose to attach to strange things for their lovies sometimes; I guess a four-foot plush dolphin isn’t the oddest thing I’ve heard of a kid dragging around with her.

Be happy that she did not get attached to a twin sized, spinach colored blanket. I still remember the day that my mother made me “abandon” it. We were on a trip and I guess it was becoming a burden. :)
Dolly might need to jump in the bath with her one of these days! And at least she doesn’t suck her finger!
My sister had a blanket for a lovie until some mean person, who worked with my mom, told her she was too old and the police would haul her away. :(
And what exactly constitutes a lovie? In my thinking, you have to love it crazily for a pretty good amount of time. Isabelle is onto a different toy sometimes on a daily basis. Like tonight, she’s sleeping with a ball. A ball! Tomorrow it might be a frisbee.
My 10 month old has become attached to a fischer price plastic bat. I would think he would want something soft, but at least it is washable:)
We’re missing you guys too.
Cute photos! Just this weekend my cousin’s son who is 6 lost his “Wolfie”. A stuffed wolf about the size of a grapefruit that he refuses to go to sleep with unless he has it squished in between his arm and his ribs. Dad had to search high and low and go out to the van to locate it before he would even think about closing an eye. Funny how kids can get attached to things! :)
So sweet those two, brings some tears to my eyes, but I do hope that you will get them on an airplane.
