Some of the distractions were actually Alan asking questions about the pictures! Hee hee. :) I find it funny and sweet when Alan takes an interest in what my friends are doing. Sounds like you had fun plans and though it didn't turn out as expected, I'm with everyone else, I think it's great how you can look back on it all with such a positive attitude.
