Sounds like you all had a good “stay-at-home-vacation”. I’ve never eaten at Chicken-fil-a, but when I was in San Fransisco several years ago I did get to eat a biscuit and mashed potatoe n gravy from Jack in the box. Y’know some times I still think about how good that biscuit tasted but we have neither chain in the UK.

It’s hard to watch them go, isn’t it? But I’m just starting to realize that I look forward to the quiet alone time now. Never woulda thunk it before. I feel like I get to live the best of both worlds.

I often wonder if J dislikes play places because they aren’t clean, but there have been a few that he was willing to go in.

All in all it does sound like you guys had a fabulous two weeks vacation. I much prefer if we stay around during holidays that we get a lot done.

I’m jealous that there are actually Chik Fil A resturants.. in NJ we only have 1, and it’s in the mall. And I had no idea that they had play areas!!

I think a “vacation” at home sounds great. (Is that a ‘staycation’?) Too often vacations seems to have so many to-do lists associated with them, schedules, deadlines and by the time you return home, another vacation is in order! I’m glad you guys got to have this time together.

Has Annalie tried the Backyardigans super spy game? Isabelle quite likes that. And I like that it can take over the entire screen so she doesn’t click on goodness knows what important computer file. :-D
