I am drawing a blank

November 24th, 2007

I really wanted to write a witty post tonight. I was going to have photos of Annalie rehearsing her role as flower girl for the wedding she and I are in tomorrow afternoon, and tell you about how cute she was, how well-behaved, etc.

There's a rock in my boot!
Annalie being cute at her aunt & uncle’s farm.

But my brain is refusing to cooperate. We’re in the home stretch of the world’s longest vacation and I am fried. Right now I am focusing on the wedding tomorrow, which is going to be emotional and beautiful and lots of fun. I will be on bridesmaid AND mom-of-flower-girl duty at the same time, which should be interesting.

After the wedding, we will pack up and head home. I’ve had a good time this month, enjoyed seeing so many loved ones, meeting new friends, etc. But I will be very happy to go home.

To hold you over until I am capable of brilliant compositions again, here is a photo of my Gramma B holding me when I was a baby. I took a shot of this photo at her 90th birthday party the weekend before Thanksgiving. More photos are, as always, on my Flickr photostream.

I’m such a homebody that an extended vacation of this nature would literally kick my tail-end up and down again.

I’m sure you and Annalie are ready to give Daddy some kiss-hugs.

Be sure to post wedding photos! I’ll go check out your flickr stream.

Aww the last photo is so cute, well so is the first for that matter.
And wow, you have survived a whole month, how the heck do you pack that many clothes. I would need a U-haul!

OK, so it’s pretty awesome that you have a category called “sorry this is so lame.” I was laughing when I read that. But it wasn’t. Lame, I mean.

    Wonder no more.
