Preschool travel plans

April 20th, 2008

Annalie was making pretend soup in her play kitchen when she suddenly left what she was doing and crossed the room to pick up her toy cell phone.

“Hello?…Christian? Anna? I’m SO happy to talk to you!…What’s that?…NO WAY, DUDE! That’s great news!…Uh-huh…yes…okay, see you when your flight gets here!”

Then she hung up the phone and went about her business.

I love her pretend conversations. It’s great how the minds of kids work out of nowhere sometimes.
