I painted these two bowls in Maryland last spring, and finally got around to adding them to my Etsy shop. I also recently painted a bowl for OMSH, another in the Dottery series.

Another dotty bowl

It’s in my Etsy shop now. Purchase it at your leisure, Heather, and I’ll be happy to deliver it to you…IN PERSON in a couple of weeks!

In other crafty news, I finally got around to getting those pay-it-forward gifts put together. I packaged them up and left them with Troy to mail. Assuming he did so, Maura, Stephanie and Linda should keep an eye out.

A sneak peek of something I’m working on for Halloween that will also go in my Etsy shop:

Details to follow, so stay tuned.

Thank you so much to everyone who left comments on the last post or emailed me. Your condolences and well-wishes were all very appreciated by me and my mom. We had an interesting week at my Aunt’s house with family, in many ways sad and in other ways wonderful. I don’t think I’ll be blogging any more about it, at least not in the near future. But if anyone makes the peanut butter cookies, please let me know how they turn out!

I loved my gift!!!! What a great surprise to receive! I had totally forgotten about the pay it forward swap (I guess that means I better get on making the gift I’m giving out!), but this just made my day. Thank you so much!!!

That bowl! It matches my plate. I have no choice than to make up some snacks, put them on the plate, and head over to OMSH’s immediately!!

I LOVE that bowl you did for Heather! I love the dots of different sizes - I think this may be my favorite yet!

I’m staking claim on a Halloween bag for Emily, just so you know!

Still thinking of you guys, Bethany. And if you need anything let me know.

(As for the cookies, IME - and that is my recipe, too - I have never had a problem with the natural peanut butter and that’s the only peanut butter I ever use. Weird. I would not, however, recommend getting experimental and replacing pumpkin with the PB. it’s awful.)

It’s all so lovely. And I love the crocheted basket/bowls. CUTE!

Bethany - My girls would LOVE your sneaky peaks (if they are, what I think they are) :o) Plan on making a ton, because so many of us will want them!!!! They are darling (I remember them from last year when Baby Bug carried one for Halloween, over at SAJ). Adios, orange plastic jack-o-lanterns with the black plastic handle!!! There’s a new jack-o-lantern in town :o)

Your bowls are so cute. I’m thinking of getting my girls each their own bowls for a Christmas gift.

The sneak peak, adorable. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I need your expertise on making those eyes. I have a heck of a time getting them done when I make my froggy hats.
