safe & sound in North Carolina

cousins in the parking garage

Annalie and I both fell into bed last night at 9 o’clock after a very full day. We both slept like the dead (God bless those room-darkening hotel curtains!) for the next 12 hours. We spent a really fun day with Dana & Paul and Annalie’s cousins Brett & Leo today. I took tons of photos that I’ll upload soon. For now I just wanted to let you all know that our flight from Dallas to Raleigh was so uneventful it was almost boring. Thanks for all your good wishes!

ready to swim!

p.s. Happy birthday, Dana! Thanks for spending your birthday with us!

So glad you both made it after your incredibly not boring flights. Kudos to Annalie for being an awesome kid with a fantastic attitude. I would travel with her any day! Have fun in North Carolina!
