SAJ, look what you started
October 25th, 2007
I made another pumpkin for Annalie. It took me about half the time to make this one, because I already knew what I was doing. Though I didn’t make this one exactly the same as the ghost pumpkin for Baby Bug—it differs quite a bit in the details, actually. But they are equally cute. Thanks again, Brenda!
Of course, the day after I write about how gorgeous the weather has been, it cools down and rains. (I am not complaining! I love rain.) I earned my good mom points and let Annalie wade in the pool in her rainboots when she asked, because really, what’s the harm? I even had hot cocoa waiting for her when she came in. It is my job to help create those rosy childhood memories, after all!
(I have not forgotten Part 3 of the cake story. It’s coming soon, I promise!)

The pumpkin is so adorable. I can not wait to see your sweet little Annalie all ready for Halloween with it.
What a great mommy letting her have fun out with the boots on. I hope you both enjoyed the cocoa.
Love that orange pumpkin bag – how perfect for trick or treat!
Man, I wish you were my mom with some hot cocoa ready. I could use some hot cocoa right now.
Truly adorable bags. I love them.
It’s so cute! I want one, and I don’t even have a kid old enough to go trick-or-treating!
Will you teach me how to crochet? and paint pottery? and bake beautiful wedding cakes? and not look at my kids like they are crazy when they want to go play in the pool in the rain?
Just askin’
I love it!
I love it too! And Annalie looks adorable in her boots in the pool :)
Hi Bethany – I love your blog too! Between SAJ, you, and OMSH, I can’t get my chores done :o) Beautiful pics too! Your little Annalie is precious! What a fun mom you are…I can just tell from the photos! And…the trick or treat baskets are just too cute! I would ask you/pay you to make three for my crew but I think we are running out of time at this point. Keep on bloggin’, you sure are a talent!
Hugs,
Michelle (The “Mmmmmm, waffles.” Michelle from OMSH!)
Another gorgeous photo of Annalie, and another cute pumpkin. Look at you go!
Love the pumpkin bag, and when I saw it thought of SAJ right away….”hmmm, that looks like something saj would create.”
Wasn’t far off.
Great job!!!!
that would have taken me about a month to make – leaving my children having to bathe themselves in the kiddie pool.
annalie is quite beautiful!
Cute pumpkin, even cuter kid!
Okay, seriously? Just how much do you crochet in a single day? That would take me 6 months, I swear.
Annalie – cute as ever. Great galoshes!
