- pack two suitcases, laptop backpack, camera bag, et al
- go to breakfast at Chick-Fil-A with friends
- say good-bye to friends
- comfort Annalie in case she’s sad about saying good-bye to friends
- drive 80 miles to the airport without missing an exit
- pick up my fired pottery and cram into one of my bags
- drop off the rental car
- check bags
- find gate
- keep Annalie entertained till our flight begins boarding
- once boarded, keep Annalie entertained and calm for duration of flight
- after landing in Phoenix, repeat steps 12-14
- after landing in San Diego, reunite with Troy and try not to melt at how excited Annalie is to see Daddy
- once back home, pet kitties, snuggle on couch with Troy, try to catch up on DVR’d shows
- don’t leave the house for a week
My husband is gonna be at the Phoenix airport tomorrow as well… except he leaves to DRC, Africa.
