T-minus 14 hours 19 minutes

February 9th, 2009

  1. get a solid 8 7 6.5 hours’ sleep
  2. shower
  3. round up our stuff that’s mysteriously scattered all over Angela’s house
  4. pack two suitcases, laptop backpack, camera bag, et al
  5. go to breakfast at Chick-Fil-A with friends
  6. say good-bye to friends
  7. comfort Annalie in case she’s sad about saying good-bye to friends
  8. drive 80 miles to the airport without missing an exit
  9. pick up my fired pottery and cram into one of my bags
  10. drop off the rental car
  11. check bags
  12. find gate
  13. keep Annalie entertained till our flight begins boarding
  14. once boarded, keep Annalie entertained and calm for duration of flight
  15. after landing in Phoenix, repeat steps 12-14
  16. after landing in San Diego, reunite with Troy and try not to melt at how excited Annalie is to see Daddy
  17. once back home, pet kitties, snuggle on couch with Troy, try to catch up on DVR’d shows
  18. don’t leave the house for a week

    My husband is gonna be at the Phoenix airport tomorrow as well… except he leaves to DRC, Africa.
