I painted a new Gumball the Kitten mug a while back. Do you know Gumball? You have probably seen him on my original Gumball mug, either in my favicon in the navigation bar up there, or in my Flickr photostream somewhere.

My friend Brenda (AKA Secret Agent Josephine) created Gumball to make party favors for her daughter’s Pinkkkkity First Birthday Party a bit more than a year ago. Then she decided the fun didn’t need to end with the party and created a Flickr group to promote Gumball WORLD DOMINATION!!! And it seems to be working.

I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it at first. Should it be a gift? Should I sell it in my Etsy shop? Then I knew what I had to do, what the most fun thing would be…a GIVEAWAY!

Would you like to own this new Gumball the Kitten mug? It’s bigger than the original, holding 16 ounces instead of the standard 12. It’s curvy and has a nice feel to it. It’s dishwasher safe, and although it does get hot it’s microwave safe, too. It was hand-painted by yours truly at a local paint-your-own-pottery shop with Secret Agent Josephine‘s design.

Here’s what you have to do.

1. Go to the Gumball Flickr group, look through the photos, and pick a favorite.
2. Leave a comment on this post, including the link to your favorite photo.

If you do those two things, your name will be placed in a drawing for this mug! Some Gumball magnets might also be given as a second prize, you never know. The drawing will be held, oh, this Saturday or Sunday probably. I will post a reminder a day or two before I close the comments on this post. When I do that, no more entries will be accepted and the drawing will be held and a winner announced this time next week. Anyone can enter, whether you know me or not, whether you’re a longtime Gumball follower or are just hearing of him today.
