My friend Anna has a son who doesn’t like cake. What to do for his birthday party? She came up with a brilliant yet simple non-cake that would also work perfectly for kids with allergies to milk, wheat or eggs.

I LOVE that idea. I’m not a big cake fan either (unless it’s Angel Food and I can only eat so much of that). This is such a cool idea! I’m so going to try this.
What a great idea! I should try that for my son, who simply is a picky eater and doesn’t like cake or frosting.

that is a good idea! my sisters are allergic to gluten… so no (real) cake for them. now they are both trying the vegan lifestyle as well… so I’m not sure if their non-milk “butter” they use would work in rice krispies or not… great idea though. and so cute! :)
I have actually seen a lot of rice krispy wedding cakes in this neck of the woods.
